Hi we are in the festive season and we are out of school. before we left for festive break we were told to always read our books so as to pass our exams, that statement really confuse me I begin to ask myself why do our teachers always tell us to read our books. I know it is good to read your book but they make it sound like if you don't read you will be useless that only book can bring you success. I know that part is true but it has deviated our reason for reading.
Many student now read book to pass exams I know cause our teacher says if you don't read you cannot pass your exam, that their favourite saying and if you don't know a subject or topic it means you are not serious, playful and want to destroy your life. even our parents want us to pass our exam badly. which makes me think do we need knowledge or we need to pass exams because nobody is focusing on knowledge but exams
