In Nigeria a lot of children are being abused,physical by parents and schools. Am not saying children should not be deciplined, when they do something wrong, it's just that the punishment outweighs the wrongdoing.
If you look at the body of a Nigeria child, at least 3 out of 5 will have a scare from cane either from parents or teacher. The worst of the scenario is the teacher they beat the children like they are not human being, for some silly stuff the student do like if a student doesn't do his assignment they can beat the student like he stole they even attack the student physical with blows and kicks. I have seen and experience it.the school I passed out from there was a teacher who uses electrical cable to discipline students I don't know what teachers are thinking but I guess they can do anything since in Nigeria, children are used as items adult uses to release their frustration and blow up since but theyhave forgotten that what they are doing has adverse effectson children, it reduces their self esteem and if a child can't take it anymore they commit suicide and the parents start blaming people. They are a lot of children who are homeless not all of them are orphans some of them run away because of the way their parents treat them. I hope parents and teachers discipline their Children rightly and don't use them to blow off steam.
