Freedom

This thought kept me late at night
We are told we have freedom
It is part of our right the government says
But are we really free?
Is freedom just an illusion ?
Isn't freedom just myth?

What is the definition of freedom
I ask myself this question at times
Is having rules and regulation freedom?
Freedom of speech yet people can't speak
We were told our leaders fought for freedom
But are we really free?

Then this brought me to a conclusion
There isn't anything like freedom
An illusion that was forced feed to us by society
Giving us the belief that we are free
There isn't anything like freedom.
